No worries... I am patient just knowing someone is still here and sometimes it takes a bit to type

Umm... yes there are other things I want to see too but those are my main bucket list

I wanted to find a pygmy pipehorse so bad it was a real thrill to do it. The red indian fish was on my list of kewl things as was the golden crested weedfish .... hammarhead... only ever seen one.

Desperately want to see a leaffy seadragon

I want to go back to Lady Elliott Island when the baby turtles are hatching and dive with them get some shots underwater with them.... THAT would be so kewl!

I can feel the excitement of finding that pygmy pipehorse!! Very cool. Don't you love that feeling?!?!

Hmmmm golden crested weedfish? I have to look that up.

Where did you see that Hammerhead??

Now the baby turtles...that would be super cool.

Don't you love the progression of seeing something great, doing a double take, and then YES IT IS!!! ahhhhhhh its sooo great. And then the same thing getting a picture.

So, I guess the movie this weekend will have tons of stuff in your backyard. I will be thinking of you guys with my 3D glasses on!

We get heaps of Nudibranchs here. Funny how the things you see as boring.. common excite people from other locations because they never see them.... tell you what tiggrr.... I don't normally take pics of Nudis... but next dive I will try to get shots of a selection of nudis for you OK?

hang on and I will post a pic of the weedfish

Looks like you have a similar number of dives to me.... I am hoping to get my 400th at Fishrock or shortly after. I did my 300th at fishrock would be a nice thing to repeat but really it is just another dive I suppose....

Nah, I'm just at a little over 300. Stopped logging because I'm lazy.
Gonna start again this year. Feel like I missed out a bit.

So, how have you been? What is going on in your life??

OOOoooooh Nudis just for meee?? Most excellent.

sorry closed the worng window... will be back in a sec with the pics then I will answer your question

These are Golden Crested Weedfish. They can swim very quickly but more often just let the water toss them around like bits of kelp so you don't notice them Very well camouflaged in the weeds and kelp. One shows him with lunch in his mouth. A couple shots have backscatter but I love the expression on their faces

I included the one where it settled on my fingers to show size they are the coolest things... unfortunately the kelp bed they lived in got swept away by high seas and them with it. I know another kelpbed where one lives but it is a big bed and hard to find something in..

THey are tiny!! How in the world do you find them?? Yes, the look on their faces are cute. The first one looked a little like a frogfish but, soo much smaller.

Bummer about the kelp bed.

When are you diving next?? Same place??

Well how have I been... this week at work was a bit rough on some of the old injuries. I basicly had to stop working full time because the job is so physical if you do it right. Crawling on the floor, on m feet all day, doing CPR and so on. I wear the tops of the toes our of my shoes as an amazing rate. Getting harder and harder to get up and down so while I like the job I don't think the job likes me.

This week I had 3 days.... 7:15 to 6:15 yesterday... wiped me out.

I am so lucky to be able to work, to have a job and the wonderful life I live but there are times the pain drags me down a bit.
