Shortbread and butter tarts The Australian shortbread is not the melt in your mouth stuff I am used to. NO one here had ever had butter tarts before I came. I would get lynched if I went to the family gathering without them now

Let's go make a snowman...it's snowing outside, AGAIN!!!:shakehead:

You must be narced ... no snow 32ްc (89.6ްF) and beautiful

oops ... guess that thread fizzled a while ago ...

Stop bragging out your ideal weather while others of us are miserable or Petunia won't share any of her Xmas baked goods with you..

Sorry about the weather thing ... but I reckon I have more chance of getting some of Petunias baking than you ;)

:shakehead:sorry tried the gingerbread thing... too much humidity couldn't get the stuff to say together but fish and I made these.... sorry the colour didn't turn out well but I can't find the pics when we had them mounted so just stuck them on the (snow free) lawn and took a couple pics for you... this thread needed pics anyway:rofl3:

It's summer for ya, whereas it's winter for us poor souls on this side of the hemisphere. :shakehead:

Snowball fight, anyone? It's the wet type of snow so no wimpy snowballs here, only the icy hard "ouch" kind. :eyebrow:

Anyone want to do an ethically (sp?) correct wreck dive??

:dancingsnoopy:oh that is the only kind of snow I like.... When I was in Canada I used to make huge snow sculptures in the yard when we had the wet sticky snow... pack it down hard and all you have to do is brush the new snow off with a broom and they could last all winter! I did an Ogre once nearly ten feet tall..... used moss from the trees for his hair and beard.... he lasted till March.... Xrated when I came home to find his beard had fallen into his lap:eyebrow:
