www.walamp.com and automotive parts but there is no obvious source for this kind of stuff => you have to search. Ebay has some ballast and igniters for sale. You have to find the right bulb then.

Trail Tech makes a nice small light/ballast combo that could fit the bill. The ballast and bulb are inside the small housing. But they aren't super cheap. HID's cost.

Trail Tech's light is $99 complete in housing.(I ordered 2)
The lamp and ballast are made by Welsh Allen, but WA want's $170 for a bulb and ballast. They only want OEM's to buy bulk.

Are they are the 13 deg bulbs????
 
trailtech has a spot and a flood. I heard the flood was 12 deg. Not sure what the spot is.

And they now have a 24W MR16 HID light

HID Lights are not a diving technology first, they were designed for the indoor lighting industry. Company's like Sartec took the existing technology further and water sealed them for underwater use, the rest followed and made history.
