This is a new sport for me and I am loving it. We just did some dives at Beaver Lake in Arkansas and loved it. I just wanted to say HELLO!!!!

Be sure to check your local dive club forum - Deep Dixie Divers - and I'm sure you'd be welcome at nearby Texas Swamp Divers if you'd like to drive west some. Let me know if I can help here..

I live in Greenwood Arkansas how was the visibility at Beaver? I am considering going there for a dive. Lake Tenkiller Oklahoma has a new Scuba Park in case you are in that area.

The visibility averaged about 15 feet. We dove at the Dam site bluffs, and the Old foundation / school bus. The water was way down. The foundation was only 4 feet under the water. We have not been to Lake Tenkiller but we are planning on going sometime. We considered going this past weekend but the rain changed all that for us.

Welcome to the boards! Glad to have you around!
