Welcome to the board Bubbles. There's great people and great advice here(usually...lol.) Are you doing any local diving,i.e. lakes,etc.? My advice is to buy you own gear.....the difference in both performance and comfort makes it completely worth while.
 
Welcome aboard. I found it was alot better purchasing my own gear, due to being a pretty small female it was to hard to find rental gear that fit, plus I trust my gear because I know what maintanence has been completed and how it has been treated.
 
I cant wait to start posting some questions here. I have been reading alot of posts about equipment WOW. a few have said its like the chevy and ford debates that has been going on for years now.
