Hi from Lake Mead, Nv

New to ScubaBoard but not new to diving. I got my first C card in the early 70s in the midwest where lake and cave diving was king. Now I reside in Las Vegas, Nv only 35 miles from Lake Mead where deep diving is king. I have logged over 600 dives in fresh water and 62 in salt water. If anyone comes to Las Vegas for gaming and such, drop me a line and I will show you the underworld of Lake Mead. Have Boat, will dive.

Went down yesterday and Saturday and it is still 7mm weather, 57 deg at the surface, thermo at 32 ft. Let me know when you are in the area and we can get wet.

How does Lake Mead diving compare to Lake Powell? Went to Lake Powell last year and it was terrible. What would you say the vis is like? (typically)
