Hello!

Just got my advance open water diver certificate last April 30. Diving is great. I always look forward for my next dive.

I just hope someone out there would give me an explanation or information re: vertigo and diving. I experienced a "benign positional vertigo a day after my last dive. I was rushed to the hospital but was discharged a couple of hours later. Is my vertigo due to diving???

I remember having vertigo when I was a kid. Not pretty often though. In fact the last time I had it was around 8 yrs ago. The vertigo I experienced after my last dive was pretty severe. My hands even got numb... (thought i was having a high blood pressure). But my ECG is normal, electrolytes is normal. But my potassium level is low.

I hope this is not anything serious that will stop me from my new love- diving. Any info?

Thanks and happy diving to all!
