I was open water padi certified way back in 1986 while in the military, and kind of fell away from it after i got out. Then back in briefly during 95 and made a trip to Grand Cayman. Fell away again, (it's amazing how much time and money kids take away from your wallet.)
Anyway, a friend just gave me a book called "The Last Dive" and although it is a tragic sad story, all the dive talk in the book got me itching to jump back in. Planning on taking some refresher courses soon.
I found this place doing searches for any and all info on diving.

I'm sure you can tell my other hobby from the name. I coach my sons hockey team and it is a blast to see the little kids learn hockey.

So howdy to everyone and I can't wait to hit the water again.

Welcome from the Continental US' diving paradise. We don't play much hockey here, except for the Panthers (that's another subject), but there's still a little Jai lai played, not to mention over 200 wrecks and 3 tiers worth of reef to dive. So anytime you want to "let the puck lead" come on down and say hi!!

Semper Safe,

Rick

And welcome to SB. :wavey: Good place to learn, compare, argue. :krach: Put us in your Favorites and check in often.

Welcome back!

to the one and only true passion!

I coached youth soccer when my kids were little, so I imagine hockey is similar in being able to watch the kids mature and develop the "spacial" concept and move away from "mob" hockey. I bet it's fun.

Keep on divin'
