I am a new diver and I want to say thanks for all the different posts on the forum.

It is really great to read about other divers and learn new info.

I received my certification in April and have since dived in Cozumel.

This week I spent a day diving in the gulf while I was at Orange Beach, AL.

Needless to say diving in Cozumel was much different.

But, it was great to be under the water even if the visibility wasn't as great as Mexico.

Hope to dive again soon, but it will have to be at a quarry. Since, I need to stay at home for awhile before spending more $$$$.

Welcome to the 'Board, Lynn! Come on over to the Florida panhandle. The fresh water springs have much better visibility than what you saw in Mexico. Let me know when you're ready to head over.

Welcome! Wait until you hit the quarry for the first time. You may find the water just a tad cooler. ;-) Its still fun, though
