Greetings from the Midwest. I am newish to diving. I am 3 years and will be over 50 dives into scuba after this weekend. I am lucky to have Pearl Lake, set up for divers, nearly in my backyard.

I am starting to get closer to tech diving, but need to get the needed gear first. I'm working on that slowly, but spent all my "equipment budget" on a drysuit this year. I got tired of being cold even in a semidry. I hope to be able to progress to wreck diving in lake Michigan sooner than later.

If you are in the northern Illinois southern Wisconsin area and ever need a dive buddy let me know.

I am looking forward to meeting other divers here.

Nice to see another midwesterner here, would be cool to dive lake Michigan and find some lost gold!

I agree with Mobulai on the drysuit, a necessity in the waters here especially if going deep and the earlier the better as far as investment goes.
