First I am going to St. Maarten in April with my wife. We are already planning on heading to Saba to dive for 4 days.
Suggestions of where to go who to dive with if we want to have a decent of level of dive freedom? You know what I mean - No DMs banging on the tanks that the dive is over after 35 mins at 40ft. : )
Is St. Maarten really that bad?
And if you have suggestions for Deep Sea Detectives web site let me hear them... the guys want to cater to their fans, and what you all want on the site to come shortly (along with a slew of new episodes)!

thanks,
divingdog

Welcome to ScubaBoard:

There are some good posts in the Carribean Forum here and also try searching Google Scuba.locations.SABA on their Groups. Looks like the best op on the island is SeaSaba. Have a great time and make sure you post a trip report.

thanks all. I have dug, and I have found info on Saba. shoudl have done that first.

Moved from Introductions & Greets forum.

IMO, St Maarten is great! The diving is so-so but there are still some great dives there.

We mainly stay on the dutch side and always dive with Aquamania but if you have any questions, let me know.

Also, one of the best places for info on SXM is at www.traveltalkonline.com

They have a very informative forum there.

Good luck and with any luck, I might even be there in April too.
