Hello to all!

I am from Ketchikan, Alaska and am currently writing an article about diving Alaskan waters. Does anyone here have experience diving cold-water? If so, would you be interested in telling me some of your stories of diving adventures and/or photographs? I'd love to interview any of you who would like to share. You can post to this thread or respond to writinginak@hotmail.com.

Thanks so much!

Welcome to ScubaBoard! :happywave

Lot's of people! Just not me. Check out our Pacific Northwest Orca Bait forum for a bunch of them.

Don't forget to fill out your profile, so that we can add context to your future posts. Also, once we know where you are geographically, you may find that you'll have a whole bunch of new dive buddies to choose from locally.

Dive safe!

Christian

P.S. Due to the high volume of new posts in the Introductions and Greets forum, it's not always possible to keep up with all the new posts here. So, please help me out and send me a PM if you post anything you want me to read or repsond to in this forum.

So, are you a diver...?

Welcome to the Board..... Brrrrrrrrrrr, sorry I can't help with any cold water diving. If you ever do an article on the beautiful WARM, clear waters of Florida, let me know.. :)

wow. i am sure there is some great stuff there in Ketchikan in the kelp forests, but i would be afraid of being run over by a cruise boat!!! i was there with one of the cruise boats and they offered to go snorkeling in the kelp forests- i declined that one!

isn't the main cruise cannel like, 2000 feet deep?

Zack

Welcome to Scuba Board!! Um, I dive cold water, but I don't think it's the type of cold water you're looking for lolz. I doubt Boston is nearly as cold as Alaska.

Anyway, Hope to see around the board!!

Hi and welcome to Scubaboard!
I've been to Ketchikan. Beautiful place!
I was also wondering if you're a diver, or just looking for info from our divers?

Hello from Matt, :thumb:

Welcome to SB! :1poke: I came here to look for help with my scuba diving dream and the response has been fantastic. So, I know you will enjoy being a member here.
There are a lot of nice and informative scuba divers. It's a good place to meet other divers and share experiences and dreams. Take care from Matt. :snorkels:
