So, are you a diver...?

Nope. Not yet anyway. Too many health problems, but I'd love to. I live vicariously through a couple of friends who are divers here in Ketchikan. Absolutely cool. One friend went diving this past weekend and almost landed on a wolf eel as he descended. EEK!

wow. i am sure there is some great stuff there in Ketchikan in the kelp forests, but i would be afraid of being run over by a cruise boat!!! i was there with one of the cruise boats and they offered to go snorkeling in the kelp forests- i declined that one!

isn't the main cruise cannel like, 2000 feet deep?

that's what I'm told. My friends usually dive Mountain Point and only go about 60 - 80 feet. They say you can hear the cruise ships go by and feel the vibrations. They also say you can feel the vibrations when the whales are talking...cool, huh?
