We live in the Blue Ridge Mts of Virginia and know exactly what you are talking about. Quarries and rivers are our mainstay. We try to get to warm tropical destinations at least once a year. How far are you from Thomasville, NC? We get to Bluestone Quarry a couple of times a year.
