Hey y'all!

I'm a Cousteau Society Project Ocean Search alum (1991), and I'm looking
for anyone who was in Savusavu, Fiji the same time I was. I found Ian, very easily, I might add, so I want to find others as well. I'm new to this
message board, so I wanted to say hey to everyone else too, of course.
I'm stuck here in Charlottesville, VA while my husband finishes grad school, but as soon as we can, we're movin' straight back to the beach (we lived in Wilmington, NC before this...Go Hawks, kick Indiana tail! We want DUKE!).

:mean:

Any other Carolina divers out there? :pirate:

What a fun site (I hope I'm doing this right!).

Welcome to Virginia, I just moved here from Florida in January, I haven't been warm since. Just kidding, but it has been a shock to the system of a Florida Boy. I live in Newport News now, but will probably be moving the household to Williamsburg this summer when my best buddy can move up here with me.

Good to have you here. Good name you have got, although the Seahawk name I admire most is that of my beloved football team.

Later, Hawk.

Welcome to the board from the cold waters of New England.

Have fun, Dive Safe ........................Arduous

Wow, what a great welcome! Y'all are awesome!
I think I'm going to like it here.

I feel the same as you do Dennis...too cold here in VA (NC wasn't much warmer, but I just refuse to think of anywhere being better than the Cape Fear, the most beautiful place on Earth!). Did anyone see the Indiana-UNCW game last night? Sadly, we (UNCW) lost, but I think everyone will now know that there's a big difference between a Tarheel and a Seahawk (Carolina didn't even get into the tourney, ha! ;-0 ).

Thanks again, guys. I feel like I know most of you already from reading all your helpful posts. I guess you now know that I'm a real cold-weather-wimp.
You Northwesterners and Canadians must think Dennis and I are spoiled!
Take care for now!
