Aside from hunting for Meg teeth, how is the diving there? Lots of critters to see, or are the teeth the main attraction?
Not much to see except rubble piles on the Meg ledges. Dig through it looking for teeth. Now the wrecks in NC are full of wildlife, definitely worth seeing.

I am surprised that no VA Beach area divers have popped up on here yet. There is some wreck good diving off the VA coast. I have great memories of the Marine Electric, the Lukenbach, the Morgan and more. I am not sure who is running charters down that way anymore, but I have dove down there with Lynnhaven and Captain JT (although I think that he only does NC these days). There was also another boat that we used, but I am completely blanking on the name. It is thick wetsuit or drysuit diving, but the diving is good enough that we used to drive down from the DC area to dive there.
