I am really glad I was able to find this site. I belong to other forums for my other activities (golfing, dirtbiking, hiking, etc...) and now I have one for scuba. My girlfriend and I are in nor cal and will be getting certified in 2 weeks. We are very excited. Anyways, now I'm off to the classifieds section to try and find some used fins.

Thanks ScubaBoard!

Welcome to the board and good luck to both of you in your class.

Be sure to have your booties on when test fitting those used fins.

Welcome to the board cberg33!

Just a bit of unsolicited advice, unless you already know what fins fit you best you may want to get them locally and try them on a pool if you can.

Good luck on your class and check this link:

Enjoy your training and when you get that "license to the real learning" called a cert-card,
feel free to drop on down to your local forum and join in the fun:
http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/norcal/ I'm sure there will be those willing to dive with you
from your local area.

Thanks for the kind words all. We look forward to joining the diving community.
