I was net surfing and came across this. Someone asked if anyone had been to LTC in Concord.

I don't know how old the posting is but, I've been there! It's a big warehouse with lots of cool stuff to buy. I'm a "rookie" so, I'm holding back on buying (I don't need to right now).

Anyway,
LTC is a good place to check out.

Shelly, There is a entire new world out there waiting for you to dive in. You'll love it. Buying is an important decision there are many good comments within Scuba Board. If you have more questions give us a call.

Happy Diving

Shelly, welcome to SB!

You'll find lots of great information here and this place is sometimes pretty amusing.

Sea ya!

I just like to say "Hi!" to ever new member who comes thru here, so - "Howdy there...!!"

PM me if I can help you find your way here...

Welcome to the board. Becareful when buying gear. Cheapest isn't always the best... Remember the old saying, "You get what you pay for".

Welcome Shelly1969

So Diving in Lake Muskoka??? Now there's a lake that's almost a cuppa tea! :D

I see the Moderator has placed your thread in the Ontario section - so we can welcome you and maybe even lead to local Dive shops.

Where were you looking? Richmond Hill has 2 Dive shops, Toronto has Many, they are dotted about the landscape.

Welcome and have lots of fun!

he he...I almost forgot about SB!
I sent my message in ...January?? Holy cow. I'll try to remember to check it more often.

Yep - Skeleton lake was neat. I haven't done any dives since then. I'd really like to though. Have you done any liveaboards? I know Cozemel is reccommended but, after "Katrina" I'm not sure how beat up it is right now.

I HAVE to go somewhere sometime. I can't wait to see what's down there!! When I took my course, I had a few interesting moments. I wouldn't be suprised if I was dubbed "Urkel of the sea" (ha ha)! What can I say? A few more dives and I won't feel like THAT much of a spaz!

Re: Dive Shops > I know of the one at Yonge & Eglinton (forget the name at the moment..) & LTC in Concord.
Thanks,

Shelly
