I will be heading to Belize to go diving soon and need to double check what I have (hopefully) learned from reading these fantastic boards.
I am a long time above-water videographer and typically work in Adobe Premiere and After Effects. I have no problem correcting video in post. I typically shoot in 1080 24p.
This is the first time I will be shooting underwater. And the first time shooting underwater with the Hero3 Black.
Based on what I have read, I believe that 2.7k Protune WB Raw will give me the best footage and most options in post. Because I will be combining this footage with above-water 24p footage I was planning on using the 24 fps CIN mode. Is there any reason to shoot in 30fps? (which seems to be a favored fps with this camera at 2.7k).
Alternatively, will I end up with better results/workflow with 1080 48 fps? Or 1080 24fps?
Thanks for any insight.
