I just bought a Henderson Hyperstretch 7mm my hooded vest won't be in until later this week. Anyway, I did a dive this past weekend just with the suit ( no vest ), I was able to stay in for 20 minutes in water that was 42F from surface to 35 feet.

I started to get a little cold and decided to stop the dive, I was using air pretty good. I figure that with the addition of the 3mm hooded vest I'm be good to dive for another month here in Canada.

I was very impressed with the warmth of the suit given the cold water conditions and also the fit that this suit has. Easy on and easy off, even when wet. This hyperstretch is a winner in my book

I use my gold core in California, and dive usually from 52 to 58 degrees. I have the farmer john style. I did a lot of research on wetsuits. I will say that it does dry very fast. A surface interval of twenty minutes, and it is fairly dry on the side you leave out. If you are larger proportioned, I would probably get the hyperstretch, because it will stretch to your body, but one problem with the hyperstretch is that many people feel that it is very prone to snags and unravels.

I got mine from Leisure Pro, and actually had it delivered to a motel I was staying at in Monterey. I love Leisure Pro, I think I'll send them a Christmas card because they are like my family (since I call them so much).

p.s. You must check out Seaquest's X-flex, my wife has it and it is pretty sweet!

I think the Hyperstretch is good, it was the closest off the rack suit I could get to fit me....I am curvy and tall and therefore don't fit the short, tiny girl suits, but after a day of trying on suits, ugh....the hyperstretch was the easiest to get in and out of and had the best fit!:cheer: always an important factor...:yea: :hi:

Needless to say, whether you go for either of these two suits, Henderson is number one in my book

:)

I have a Hyperstretch too - it's very easy to put on and comfortable. It's so flexable that I can wear my old shorty under it - matter of fact I can wear about anything under it and that sucker will seal.

I HATE HOODS! I dive in the Northwest and I have to wear something or freeze to death. I have tried wet suit hoods, dry suit hoods, everthing gives me claustrophobia. I would rather not dive than to wear one of those hoods. Not only am I uncomfortable, it distracts me so much I task load as I begin to sink. Until I tried the hyperstretch hood.

Guess you can tell I am hooked. It is warm, comfortable and not confining. From a hood hater to a hood lover in one smooth move. This time believe the adds, a hood for people who hate hoods!

Try it if you had the same problem as I did.......

Henderson is a great wetsuit. I have a 3mm gold core and it fits like a glove. Easy to put on and to get off.

Because of my somewhat odd measurement of my waist/hips being a little larger than the area around my chest, {1 size larger} i went with one size smaller wetsuit to make sure it fit snug around my upper torso. The suit had enough flexability for a good unrestricted fit around my waist & hips.

That's what i love about that suit. It's warmth also surprised me for the 70 +de .f. water in which i was diving. Hardly had any water that entered the suit. Also had no problems with it falling apart.

I have heard alot of good comments of the hyperstretch.. Would be nice to have.

One other thing to be said . Leisurpro is at the top of my list for prices, customer service and quick delivery. Of course i don't half to say that for anyone that did business with them.

Safe diving to ya all!
