Below is a video I shot using the Hero 3 with pro tunes on and Polar Pro red filter in about 20-30 feet then edited in FCPX (I did not use Cineform). 1080p 30fps

That's interesting. Why cant you use the ColorDirector plugin with ProTune?

Reports error of unrecognized format, maybe they will figure it out soon since it does import into powerdirector

Seems tha Colordirector won't take 2.7 either, only 1080 or 1440 but just saw an upgrade for ColorDirector that would, Humm all us users of the 1st version suggested things like histograms etc and now instead of updating, they want $80 to upgrade Shame on you Cyberlink
