I am a newbie diver and don't know much about the sport yet. I just got open water certified the the day. I found this listing of items for sale. The guy is legit and actually has the stuff. it's not stolen. I was wondering if this equipment below is worth $1500.00 any help you may have will be greatly appreciated. I also assume all the regs and life support gear will need to be serviced before use. Thanks again for your help.

I don't get it. Should you get ALL THIS for 1500,-?
If that's the case, and you are not being mislead, I'd definately buy it.

But something smells a little wierd..

Just a quick thought - if you are a new diver why would you want to buy enough miscellaneous stuff to open a used scuba gear shop? Lots of stuff you won't use, some you would not want to, some that doesn't fit, etc...... Better to concentrate on quality items for your personal use and to learn proper use of the gear. You would not want to be in the position of selling dive gear to other people when you have little experience yourself.

Mares regs are very difficult to service in the USA due to unavailability of parts.

It sounds too good to be true - assuming the gear was all in decent condition you could fully equip yourself and probably get most of your money back selling the surplus items on eBay.

Yes, you would definitely want to have the regs serviced before using them.

i am with Brian

if you do get all of this for $1500 jump on it. keep what you like the best, and off load the rest of it. i dont see any reason you need 3 pairs of fins and three bc's ( unless they are different lift types for different diving ).

get what you keep looked at and servicied if nessacery. if i knew where you were geting it i would be going at it with ya.

Looks like its gone from Craig's list, did you buy it?
