As others have told you, you'll have to answer this yourself. I think most divers go through an, "I want to be an instructor phase". Most come out of it. We certainly need more, good, responsible instructors that make diving FUN. (That's what it's all about isn't it?)
On the other hand....there's the expense, the "being married to the job", the same problems/excuses/questions over and over, and the liability issue. (In some states you are liable for a diver for TEN YEARS after you quit teaching!)
I was an A.I. and I always said that when it got to where it wasn't fun anymore I would quit diving.....I quit teaching instead! Been diving ever since and loving it more.
