Probably early 90's Mk 10. If it has been converted to the 10 plus the seat retainer on the bottom of the 1st stage will be matte chrome....not shown in pic's.
The G250 has the smaller venturi lever.....not good for thick gloves.
Both stages look in very good cosmetic condition.
Value??....I'd expect it to be about $150 to $175 maybe $200 if there is proof of a recent service.

The groove for a spec boot makes it a late production Mk 10 - 1990ish or later.

A G250 is a G250 even though they had a couple different styles of adjustment knobs (splined metal or splined plastic over a metal stem and a double different styles of flow vane knobs (short like the one pictured or slightly longer. It can be replaced with the current SP flow vane knob that is long enough to be easily turned with gloves, but to be honest very few divers ever bother to adjust it.

As posted above, the Mk 10 Plus seat retainer is a matte bead blasted chrome finish. I'll sell a Mk 10 freshly serviced in good cosmetic condition for $90-$100. A G250 in good condition can bring $80-$100, but the price has dropped some from the previous insane levels now that the G250V is available.

Thanks for the posts guys. The dealer wants 250 for it, plus shipping. It has been just serviced but it doesn't come with a warranty or SP lifetime parts card. With the somewhat high price and the downside of having to buying service kits in the future, I think I should spend a little more on something new instead. Thanks again.

AquaMaster: Once I get my new primary squared away, I might be interested in picking up one of those Mk10's for a pony setup. I'll PM you when I'm ready. Hopefully you still have one for sale. Thx

$250 is a little high, but if it really has been serviced well, and is in excellent condition inside and out, (like a perfect edge on the piston, no corrosion in the ambient chamber, 2nd stage orifice and air barrel in pristine condition) then it's still a better deal than almost any new reg. You might ask them to guarantee that the reg is pristine internally (I assume they serviced it) and ask them to throw in a parts kit for each stage so you can service it next time around, or maybe they'd even agree to one future annual service. I guess I've seen a few used regs like this that really are worth that much, and others that are not.

I would not place too much value on the "lifetime parts" warranty with new regs. You are typically bound to annual service to keep those warranties active, and that's going to cost a lot over the years.
