Help For Beginners

I have been using Jasco Photo Shop for a while - have you ever compared it with PS? Thanks.

Your post is timely. I just loaded JASC on my home computer out of curiosity. My office uses Corel and we had some extra licenses. I really have not gotten into it too much, but it seems like many of functions which are similar to Photoshop are structured quite differently in JASC. That said, it looks like powerful software and a very serviceable photo editor. I recall prior users posting approval of the results they got with this software.

I am not going to abandon PSCS and do not have a lot of spare time to figure out new software. Is there anyone out there who has experience with JASC? If so please start a JASC 101 thread in the tutorials sub and we can all learn.

I've been able to use it for basic editing but have not been too good in figuring out how to separate the image in layers and use the histograms. Hopefully someone here can chime in. Thanks.
