Does anybody have a good source (other than Ebay) for the Divator MKII AGA fullface mask? By good source I mean less expensive than the mainstream market shops. Or if anyone has one kickin around that they want to get rid of. An EXO 26 wouldn't be bad either. Thanks

I had a chance to check out the new FFM from Poseidon; it looks like a winner. It's based on a previous AGA design (from the same designer), most notable difference is a wider skirt so it should be able to seal better on folks with narrow faces.
It uses a Jetstream/Odin reg, and is even switchable between regular demand or positive pressure.
Not sure of the price yet, new list isn't out.

For AGAs, check with my buddy Bjorn at Dyk & Brand in Sweden.

If you have any concerns about ordering from overseas, I'd be happy to get one in for you at the same price.
No import duty on regulators. :D

Bob,

Looks interesting. The Reg seems to be a little lower that the AGA, do you think it would have a larger dead air space? Eventhough, I would love to try a FFM sometime.

Regards
Eric

The Poseidon in the pics look a little different than the one I saw last year. They do appear to have a tad more real estate hanging down. I'll have to get my mitts on one & do a side-by with the AGA.
If you want to try out a FFM, the old stand by originally made by Cressi & sold by Poseidon back in the '70s: http://www.angelfire.com/ga4/bunkley/IST_M37R.jpg

To get around the CO2 buildup problem a non-compartmented mask like this would have, the mouthpiece was reattached to the reg & used that way.
Cousteau used Unisuits, Cylkons & a mask like that when he did the Antarctic expedition back in the mid '70s. They did slap an Aqualung sticker over the Poseidon logo on the Unisuits tho.
:devious:

Bob,

I used to work at Sartek - with the RSV-1 and SBV-1 for the AGAs and OceanReef FFM. It just looked a little much for the dead air space. Not sure why?
Eric

The only reason I am curious is when I was working at Satek, there was a huge debate with the SBV (surface breathing vent), we had it on the from of the mask where the coms port is VS the side of the visor.
