A little update: We have been able to collect lots of items for the captain and his family: 2 TV's, DVD player, a microwave, a dryer, 2 futons, bags and boxes of kitchen and household items, gift cards...in addition to a nice sum of $.
He and his family can't begin to thank you all enough for the help and support in these hard times when they thought they was alone. You've given them faith and hope when it could have been most easily lost. Mahalo to all!!
