Greetings all,

I've been diving for about 5 years, but only when traveling. And after years of renting, I took the plunge in picked up a set of my own gear:
- Seaquest PRO QD I3 BCD
- Apex XTX200 regulator
- Suunto console with Zoop computer

I hail from Toronto, Canada and Aquarius Scuba was great. Everyone (even the customers) in the store was very friendly and helpful, and the feeling of community in this sport is amazing.

I have serious problems collecting gear. Five months of diving and I've got two BCs, three first stages, four seconds, four sets of fins... sigh.

I find mixing diving and photography leads to excessive gear and airline baggage fees.

Hello, My name is TommyG and I am new to this site. I do have a question, while traveling by air, can I check my regulator & computer in checked luggage or is it best to carry with me?

I take all my gear with me in carry on. Easily replaceable stuff like clothes and toiletries get checked. Mask, computer, reg, fins, BPW, light, reel and smb, and 3 mil all fit in or on my carryon back pack. I can also get tshirt, shorts, change of underwear and tooth brush in. Everything else is expendable.
