Hello guys, haven't been on board for a while.

i just wanted to say hello to everyone, as i have not been able to log on to the board in quite a while. my computer's video card failed, and i had to ship it all the way back to america to get it fixed. that took forever! it's amazing how much we rely on our computers these days. you don't realize it, until you lose it.
i am currently living and working as a marine biologist and instructor in the seychelles, off the east coast of africa. anyway, i'm back and happy to say hello to everyone.

Welcome back. I find it hard to believe you had to ship the computer all the way back to the USA for service. I'd have expected that any decent computer company would have had a service center in the Seychelles, you must have had some exotic or off-brand model.

Anyway the Seychelles are on my dive wish list. If I get the chance to go there, I'll let you know and ask if you need anything from NY.
