I am a new Scuba Board member, having gotten back into diving after a hiatus. When I'm not working or raising my two and a half year old son --who loves to go with me to the dive shop, and calls my pony bottle a "pony apple"--I am scanning the surf report or taking days off in search of clear blue water and giant kelp forests.

So far it has been a tough summer for diving off of our northern beaches, but hope springs eternal.

"Pony Apple"....love it! While I grew up on Norcal, I haven't been out there in over a decade. I'm hoping to enjoy some kelp diving whenever I can jump a bird back "home". Hopefully it won't be blown out when I make my pilgrimage.
