Hi, my name is Michaela and I'm a "vacation" type diver that prefers warm, blue water with lots of visibility. My favorite place to dive so far was Cozumel.

I am hoping to dive soon in Australia and would welcome advice on what dive companies to dive with on the Great Barrier Reef. I am looking for guided dives, which seems to leave out most live-aboards. But I've heard horror stories about day boats that have 60 divers/snorklers, and really short dives. Anyone have a line on a better middle ground?

Thanks in advance....

the easy answer is to do the spoilsport or spirit of freedom, they put guides in the water on request

or go further south like lady elliot and the whitsundays
