Hello From Ohio... Any other Ohio divers here?

Hello from Columbus Ohio..... Are there any other central Ohio divers on here that might be looking for a dive buddy? I am suddenly buddyless but I WILL NOT give up my Scuba Diving! Trying to figure out how to stay wet in Ohio.....

yeah...there's one or two or 12 of us lurkin around.

A lot of us try to catch up with the KPP people (what a bunch of drunks BTW) from time to time.

Myself, BerRabbit, wb416, those are the people I can think of off the top of my head who dive regularly in OH. wb416 practiically lives at gilboa...there are a ton of people on this board who dive gilboa on a very regular basis....should be easy for you to find a buddy...

me...I dive when the wife and kid let me out of the house.

Hey there,
I just stumbled acrossed this site myself and there is a ton of information here. I am from the Monroe area in Michigan but I dive Gilboa a lot and White Star too. If you need a buddy, I am always available to get wet. I refuse to stop diving because of lack of dive buddies!

There is quite a contingent of Ohio divers on the board. Gilboa is a frequent gathering place for those from Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and often Kentucky. I think Pennsylvania sent a herd up ilast weekend if I understand one of WB's earlier posts

Shouldn't be too hard for you to find a buddy. Make sure you check out the Kentucky Pirahna Patrol section of the board (just scroll down from the main page) as well as the North America section (some post their intentions there too). The KPP is a really friendly group (not a bunch of drunks!--Don't mind Big T, once you meet him you'll understand ) and Joe's Falling Rock Quarry isn't much farther away than Gilboa.

This is a great board to start out on, it was my first one too! If you ever think someone is being nasty to you just let a moderator know. Usually we just have a lot of fun together. Make sure to check out the Kentucky Pirahna Patrol section (scroll down the main menu screen) there's a lot of local people who hang out there. They're a fun group to dive with or just to go out and eat with!
