I left there last year, I would dive stillouse about once a week. There is a dive shop at the marina, scuba divers paradise. They have a club that takes folks to a few sites on their pontoon boat on weekends. They also have guide line courses around the marina that are good for skill maintenance dives. The viz is generally 6 to 10 feet but fluctuates. Water temp in 80s on summer and high 40s in winter.

other dive shop is project scuba. Chris and Amy are super.

other popular sites are windy point on lake Travis in Austin and spring lak in San Marcos. Windy point is a scuba park but there are also open dive areas as well. Conditions similar to stillhouse. Spring lake is a limited access preserve but viz is great as it is spring fed, you have to take class with them to get access to dive if you are not with a class.
