Welcome to ScubaBoard! Out of curiosity, why the focus on southwest FL when you're not a Floridian? A lot of people tend to focus on the Florida Keys for shallow reef diving with the option for deeper offshore wrecks. Are you interesting in wreck diving, spear fishing, reef diving, etc...?
