Rob;
My wife started the OPen Water class with me and dropped out. She couldn't handle the underwater expeience. After I took my basic dives, I purchsed my own equipment and I had her practicing in her sisters pool. Had her under for 5 min. then 18 min. finally 33 min. She progressed from there to 90 dives!
We dive in Key Largo with Kellys AquaNuts. Good place for new divers. Lots of shallow reef dives and you are going to love salt water if you are diving in a quarry which we sometimes do.
