Hello from Barrie Ontario Canada

After returning from our trip to Cuba,my daughter and I decided to get our Open water certifcation.Seeing as I don't shop, I thought this would be a great father/daughter "bonding" activity.We received our basic open water certification from Tim's Diving Supplies at the end of June. So far I I have 30 logged dives, my daughter has 15 and counting.

Welcome to the board... been up to the JC Mo' quite a few times this year... thats in your neck of the woods... Have you dove it before???

Not that much. Only about 10 times (ha,ha). I dove the Neilson last week. It's in the middle of Kempefelt bay in about 82 feet of water. Only about a 1/4 mile from the Mo'. Some kind soul put a marker bouy on it about 2 weeks ago to make it easy for all divers to find by boat.

I have also been to:

1. BBP
2. Cedar Point shore/boat diving (The Marquette)
3. Washago (spelling???)
4.The Waome and Bala falls

I've been up to Tim's myself - nice guy! (never taken any courses taught by him though, I'm sorta past that I think)

Whaddya think of the shop's pool! Sweet isn't it!

So are the Tuesday evening Morrison dives still going on? I asked last week and his wife thought they were done for the season but then I heard from other divers on site that they're still ongoing. If so I may have to come up there sometime! Perhaps I'll see you in the water!

If you want a local dive buddy - well I'm not as local as you'd like perhaps, being in North York, I'd still be willing to dive - and I know ^*^BATMAN^*^ on this board is from Borden and is always looking to get out too.
