Hello Kevin! I recommend Panama City Diving if your are diving there. Pat runs a great operation.

Hello, I'm joining this expansive resource, hoping to find new dive buddies, trips, and experiences. I am in Cincinnati, Ohio. I love FFM diving (Divator, KM-48) recreationally. I dive for fun and do not take it over the top. Always learning and happy to be part of this fantastic sport (and it is a sport). I learn from everyone I dive with.

Local to me are Gilboa and Natural Springs in Ohio, Falling Rock and Pennyroyal in Kentucky.

Feel free to contact me through here or Telegram (Kevin Esmeier) I don't use any social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
Hi. I'm a new diver. I was certified in Sept 2022. Unfortunately I wasn't able to go all of 2023 but ended up going all out on my gear last year after getting certified and watched video after video of diving haha. I finally was able to dive with all my new stuff last weekend at White star and had a blast. Looking to really get into the sport but I only have 1 other dive buddy as of now. Please let me know if you'd like to dive locally thanks.

If I’m up that way, yes. And if you’re ever down my way (Northern KY/Cincinnati), let me know. Natural Springs is an excellent place to practice.

As for Destin, I have heard good things about Emerald Coast and Scubatech, but I have no firsthand experience with them.
I had a terrible experience with ScubaTech in Destin, FL. I signed up for the Open Water training. They would not accept a doctor's note that had been accepted by a different PADI certified training facility in Kauai, HI. I was kicked out of the class the morning training was to start. This could have been avoided with better communication. Savanna, the owner, said she did not feel obligated to communicate with me before the date of training that I had not satisfied their requirement to have a specific form filled out by my doctor. It took some arguing to get her to refund my money. Who needs this?

Welcome to scubaboard! Haven't been to pennyroyal although it looks deeper than it's probably been for a long time based on photos they posted online, water goes part way up the table legs. Maybe we'll see each other one day at the quarries.

Hey Kevin! I'm Earl, from Michigan. I've dived at Gilboa too—it's an awesome spot. But I gotta say, it always cracks me up (and a little sad) when people bounce around in the school bus like a yo-yo and stir up all the silt. There goes the perfect photo!

But that underwater airplane? Love it. I like to mess with friends by sending a photo and saying, "Look what I found—an actual plane crash underwater!" They always go, "Wait, WHAT?!" before realizing I’m pulling their fin.
