Glad you liked the photos! I was really close so that's probably why I got their colors. I saw a Great one day at a cleaning station but I wasn't able to get close enough for a good shot (he bailed!). I hope to another one soon!! :)

A scooter is how I manage to occassionally cruise for a few seconds with 5'ish greats, like this one.

yeah.. those large greats are hefty.. awesome shot!

well.. the North Shore diving season is quickly coming to a close..
some forecasts show 7 foot face heights for saturday.. and 5 footers for sunday..
as they used to say: "GO WEST YOUNG MAN"..

for this season.. i may have gotten my last shore dive at sharks cove on wednesday..

late afternoon wednesday.. there were some bigger sets coming into the cove..
a bunch of snorkelers were gettin' rolled.. those rocks are jagged..
so, i timed my exit between sets :eyebrow:
 
okay, okay.. there might be a few more dive-able days on the north shore this season :eyebrow:

TODAY I SAW.. TWO SHARKS AT SHARKS COVE !!!
they were under an overhang just north of the cavern system outside the elevator shaft..
these guys were big!..

'pro'ly gettin' too brazen too.. 'shovin' my camera right in their faces..

the san pedro is where you wanna go to see sharks.. in the hold.
