Helium and O2 near Pine Beach, AL

Hi all - I will be in Pine Beach next week for family vacation. I'll be diving the Oriskany while down there. I need to get fills a couple days before the dive and I would rather not drive to Pensacola and back just to get fills. Is there somewhere closer that does trimix fills and has an O2 booster? Thanks.

Down Under Dive Shop and Gary's Gulf Diver are the only two shops in Gulf Shores (that I know of).. You could check with them but I don't think that either does Trimix. (but maybe I'm wrong.)

Up in Daphne is I think "Underwater Works". They might.

Otherwise I'm betting you'll have to drive to P'cola.

Underwater Works(Daphne) has O2, but they are pretty strict on having to have an "Oxygen" label on the tank as well as having an Advanced Nitrox card. Call before hand, since Chas(owner) is the only one there who will fill O2.

I'm not sure if Gary(Orange Beach) or Down Under(Gulf Shores) fill O2, but they very well might.

I very well could be wrong, but I don't think any of the So. AL shops fill Helium/Trimix.

Thanks for the info. I thought helium availability would be a stretch for the AL side of the area, but O2 would be easy to find. I called the shops mentioned here and found that no one has helium and only one shop has a booster, but the operator uses it for friends and family. Looks like I'll be driving to Pensacola.

Underwater Works will fill O2, no booster, but they will fill to their O2 tanks pressure.
