What reasons are there to prefer one method over another? Accuracy and price seem usually to be the same, is there a significant difference in sensor lifespan? I'm looking at the idea of putting three analyzers in a box and linking them in a daisy chain - O2, He and CO, so there might be some value to a flow through style, but I'm looking for advice or someone to point me to some information.

Thanks, in advance.

I believe the flow through He units are more expensive. We have an Oxycheq on the trimix blending system we use that is the sample type. Its a pain in that you have to close it, turn in on, take reading, open it, then turn it off. Gets old quickly. Buddy has a combo He/O2 unit that has continuous reading that is much nicer for blending. For just checking tanks, I don't see any difference in usage actually.

If I was putting 3 units in one box, I would split the inlet gas into 3 lines instead of daisy chaining for times you only want one or two units.
