Spoon:
i kinda agree with you. dont underestimate the powers of special effects. rumor has it that tons of latex and special paint dyes were imported to yap for special underwater applications. this stuff is used to make uw model animals that look exactly like the real thing. works especially well when photographed with strobes. can anyone confirm this?
i do get thirsty for beer when its my turn to swim around in the manta costume....

i want a scooter....

ishbaby:

Mike Veitch:
what about your photos in the other thread?

Look harder...

I took one at the beach on Ticao - it was a "save our Mantas" sign.

the other was an ad for Ticao island resort - you can see the reflection of the light from the windows in the departure lounge behind me.

Ppfffffffffttt... some photographer you are :1poke:

Z...

just dove there last sun. i think the last time i was there is about 8-10 months ago. there is much variety & species nesting within the tire pile already, there is a huge lionfish resident as well. there are also some different corals that is growing around the area. it's a good place to sit around & relax if you are bored & would just like to dive one last time before leaving the resort :D FYI, DIVENET was the group which sank it about 10 years ago :)

ishbaby:
I have been there, Axua just described it in detail, and yes, I think just a few meters ahead, there's a sunken jeep. . . .

i remember that jeep but i haven't been to the helicopter
