Heading to Oman

Hi Everyone

I've dived a few good places but I've never ventured out to the Red Sea or dived in the Middle East before. Have just booked a five day trip to Oman, the Alsawadi Beach Resort. Has anyone ever been out there?

Looks like it might be a good spot to dive the Daymaniyat Islands, but then I read an article that said these were closed to divers until October...I fly out in September! Can anyone confirm this?

Wow, I am jealous!!! I adore Oman. I have never been to that resort but I have spent plenty of time in Muscat. If you want any info about the area and restaurants, driving situations and a few other tips please feel free to pm me. If not, I know that you will have an amazing time, ENJOY!!!!

Thanks for your reply but we're just going straight to Alsawadi. Maybe next time
