That is actually super similar to their gas mask designs. I wonder if they just adapted a GP-5 for whatever they were working on.
Concerning the ”mask” with the double eye goggle-like pieces, if they aren’t in the exact same plane, you can get some interesting double images. ‘Not sure I’d want to dive that.
