I remember how warm those greetings made me feel, and I've been trying to greet the newbies for a few weeks now. I think it really adds to the ambience of the board and helps differentiate this board from all of the other online forums that are out there.

We did indeed, and not only were they lovely young ladies with waterproof makeup and a great show, I was really impressed with their skills. That's gotta' be very difficult to learn. Dived with some manatees, including some young adults breeding - being careful to stay at distance, did a day on the beach, a day of Busch Gardens, the Florida Aquarium - the one year old granddaughter loved that the most, and a lot more. Got in at midnight last night, and I am bushed.

Well put, and aren't we doing a wonderful job. I saw that y'all kept up really well without me for a week. 'Course, I still went back and said Howdy to about 70 or 80 tonight. I'd hate to miss one.

I am especially glad to see new members helping out on greetings, too. Great job, folks; ScubaBoard was a great place when we found it, but it's getting better all the time. :dazzler1:

Yeah - we're seeing a lot of activity over there. I'm working with a handful of volunteers who let me PM them about new members who slip off of page 1 withouth at least 5 Welcomes, and I see a lot of other names posting there.

We wouldn't want anyone to do an Intro, then someday say they thought that SB was "unfriendly!"
