Seems to me they have cheated you out of at least $200. You won't see any cash from them but I'd be looking for some satisfaction before I waved goodbye. It might be a good place to try on some new wetsuits before you order it online. :D

I would trust the boys at ScubaToys and like they said they can service your Zeagle. My gear is not Zeagle and I have always bought my gear from ScubaToys, fortunately I live in Dallas and can just walk in the store.

You have been thoroughly ripped off. Any authorized Zeagle rep. can service your Regs. I live in New York and send mine to Florida. The LDS here are rip offs on their prices and service. And several times after having service done on my old regs, I had to take them back for stupid mistakes that never should have happened in the first place. I bought my regs from Aquatic Adventures in Fla. and thats where I send them for service. They're a great bunch down there.

@ Scram Bull Eggs..... agree with you, but if in first place they don't rip off customer, us as customer would not need to look for different avenues.
If the LDS would had not ripped our friend here and just charged him appropriate, he would never had this thought of looking for another place to service his gear.

i want to thank everyone for their input.
looks like i'll be shoping for another lds.
sat. morning i'll be winging my way to st lucia.
i'll find out if i've been left any mech. surprises.
i'll let you know.

I would find another dive shop..

What I always do when walking into new LDS is tell them the problems that I had with the old one and that im not going back there.. Make sure the new one knows that you dont put up with any crap and you have no problem going to another LDS..

There are a bunch of LDS's in the Baltimore area but only 2 that I deal with where I used to deal with like 6 of them..

And a very easy out, too - blame the wife. :lol2:

That does sound like a sad story - of an Lds on the way out already, I'll bet.
