Has anyone snorkeled with sailfish off of Mexico?

Hey folks,

I will be in Playa del Carmen from March 24-April 3, and was looking into interesting activities besides diving. Came across this: Sailfish Adventure Playa del Carmen - Save Here!

Has anyone does this? Is there a different op I should go with? Is it worth doing?

Any answers will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Is the time you're going to be there when the sail fish are in season? The fishing season for when they are there is Dec-Jan- Feb.

The season is supposedly Jan-Mar, so I'll be there right at the tail end.

Do your due dilligence, March will be very late in my opinion, might be very sketchy chances by then.

Have never done this, and not sure that I would. Maybe I'm being overly cautious, but I really do NOT want to be in the water hovering between a sardine bait ball and a fish that can swim at up to 68 mph which has a sword for a nose. All things considered, I'd feel safer trying to dodge the bulls in Pamplona.
