First off, thank you all for taking the time to read this. My girlfriend and I are going to take out OW course (and I might take Nitrox at the same time) In January in Orlando. I am trying to get all my ducks in a row LONG before I go down there (I like to plan everything, so no surprises pop up). We are thinking of taking diving lessons with Capt. John L. Russell and were wondering if anyone here has any experience with learning from him. I have corresponded with him through e-mail and he seems very nice, very intelligent, and very easy going. Since we will be taking private lessons from him, I want to know how other people have felt about him.

For that matter if there is someone else in the area that we should consider, please feel free to suggest him or her. We will be staying in Orlando (My girlfriend thinks we are there manly to see Disney and such and diving is an extra, where for me Diving is the first priority and Disney is a bonus) needless to say we do not want to commute two hours each way each morning and afternoon to learn to dive.

Once again, thank you for taking the time to read this post and I will look forward to your feedback.
Thank you,
Ben
