I just got back from Alpena. Long weekend involving eight dives and the recovery of a life saving ring (which the captain intended to use to set a tag line) that got tossed into the water without a line attached. Don't ask who is fool enough to jump into open water after something like this with nothing but fins and a zipped drysuit. (Hint: Fifty degrees is cold water on the hands without dive gloves.)
