Handheld Garmin GPS as a dive accessory?

Has some interesting features, but will need to use device on the surface only.

I always just leave a trail of breadcrumbs like goldielocks. Works great!!

We tried that up at Lake Lanier,but the catfish ate up all the crumbs.

Took us 6 hours to find our way back to the put in. It was kinda tough, we were at 100' and diving on single 63's.
