Hanauma Bay night-dive.

Hanauma Bay is open late 'til 10pm on the second saturday of each month.

this saturday, 11 Nov..
my dive buds are meeting at 6pm at the 2nd life-guard tower
to night-dive the trans-pac-cable to 60fsw.

All sb'rs invited.. WC, C, Leesa, etal..
(kidspot.. you still gonna be here this weekend?)

hopefully night-nav will be easy.. just follow the cable out-n-back..

this school of giant jacks was there during the day.. wonder what we'll see at night =O

WC, the viz varies a lot...might check the tide. Also, better at night, lots of big fish not camera shy at all, and no tourists walking around in their fins.

Actually can be a good place to shoot "tamish" fish.

Nice dive. I have about 8 night dives at Hanauma Bay. I have pictures of the huge school of Jacks out there during the day, but haven't seen them at night. The best places at night are swimming out towards and into Witches Brew, then working your way back out to the cable and coming back in along the cable. Diving out towards Toilet bowl is also a nice night dive. It looks like the tide situation will be nice this Saturday night as well. I just might have to try and make it out there.
